The Golden State Warriors have aggressively tried to upgrade their roster, even as the team undergoes a transition. That includes being active in trade talks. And those trade talks include everyone but Stephen Curry from the Warriors side.
“There’s very few players in the league who are not talked about in trade discussions. Steph Curry is not being discussed in trade talks. Everybody else is,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said in a recent radio appearance.
Kerr was addressing a rumor that said Golden State might be willing to trade Jonathan Kuminga in a deal for Lauri Markkanen of the Utah Jazz. Kerr’s point was that to acquire good players, you need to be willing to trade other good players.
