The Golden State Warriors and Stephen Curry will agree to a four-year, $215 million contract extension as the offseason begins.
The Warriors and Curry discussed an extension before the start of the 20-21 season.
Curry finished third in MVP voting during the 20-21 season as the Golden State Warriors ended the regular season as the No. 8 team in the Western Conference despite playing without Klay Thompson and with a young, misshapen roster. The Warriors went on to lose two tightly contested games in the Play-In Tournament.
Curry most recently signed a five-year, $201 million contract with the Warriors during the 2017 offseason after he came off a four-year, $44 million extension in 2012.
