Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry continues to break records both on and off the court.
Curry agreed to a four-year, $215 million contract extension with the Warriors on Tuesday. He’s the first player in NBA history to score two $200 million-plus deals, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Curry deserves it. He’s still one of the best players in the NBA and is the lifeblood of the Warriors. Despite his age, he still has plenty left in the tank.
“Two-time MVP Steph Curry has agreed on a four-year, $215M contract extension with the Golden State Warriors, making him the first player in history to sign two career $200 million-plus deals, his agent Jeff Austin of @OctagonBsktball tells ESPN,” Woj reported via Twitter.

Without sidekick Klay Thompson by his side, Steph Curry somehow carried the Warriors to the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference. Golden State’s season came to an end in the play-in tournament after losing back-to-back games to the Lakers and Grizzlies.
The Warriors’ championship window is still open, but it’s closing quickly. It will all depend on Thompson and whether or not he can return to his dominant self.
Thompson has been hit hard with injuries, dating all the way back to Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals. He hasn’t played a game since. Curry needs him by his side if the two are going to lead the Warriors to another championship.
