If the Golden State Warriors make Jonathan Kuminga available via trade this offseason, Zach Lowe of ESPN reports “there remains a strong level of interest” in him.
Kuminga would like a bigger role and could request a trade if it appears the Warriors will keep him in a similar position as this past season.
Kuminga played well in the absence of Andrew Wiggins, but he fell out of Steve Kerr’s rotation in the playoffs. It is difficult for the Warriors to play Kuminga in lineups featuring both Draymond Green and Kevon Looney due to the lack of spacing.
The Warriors selected Kuminga with the seventh overall pick in the 2021 draft.
