Jimmy Butler’s triple-double on Thursday led the Golden State Warriors to a 117-114 win over the Toronto Raptors, their 14th win in the last 17 games.
Butler also delivered on the less glamorous side of the ball, including a clutch block in the final minute of the game to take the Warriors closer to the win.
After the game, Butler was inquired about what he told Draymond Green following that play. The former Miami Heat star said he was giving himself flowers for his defensive effort.

“I can do that too,” Butler said before engaging in a back-and-forth with teammate Buddy Hield. “Like I always say, I respect Draymond so much. I definitely respect him because he took 14 [3-pointers] tonight. I love that. He’ll do anything to make sure this squad gets a dub. Whatever you ask him to do, he’s willing to do that. So, I’m glad I can follow suit in that sometimes.”
Jimmy Butler told Draymond Green after his win-sealing block: “I can do that, too.”

Green dropped 21 points on the Raptors to finish the Warriors’ seven-game homestand with a 6-1 record.
Upon his arrival at Chase Center from Miami, many fans thought Butler wouldn’t get along with Green. The pair have proven them wrong, as their chemistry appears to be at an all-time high right now.
Having them on the same page will be crucial in the final stretch of the season, and even more so if Stephen Curry misses time after he went down with a pelvic contusion.
