Golden State basketball is on the way! Come join our game thread and chat about tonight’s matchup here.
The Golden State Warriors travel north of the border on Monday night as they take on the Toronto Raptors. The game will be played at 4:30 PM PT in Toronto and can be watched on NBC Sports Bay Area.
Previously with the Warriors:
Golden State suffered a 108-96 loss to the Indiana Pacers in their second game of a back-to-back last Friday. The Warriors played severely underhanded in this one with six players listed as out. They leaned heavily on their depth, including sophomore forward Gui Santos. The second-year player turned heads with a strong two-game stretch, scoring 13 points against the Detroit Pistons (4-of-6 from three) and following it up with an 11-point outing against the Pacers (4-of-5 from the field, 2-of-2 from three). Despite being undermanned, the Warriors stayed competitive but couldn’t keep pace with a surging Pacers team.

What to watch for tonight:
The Warriors will look to rebound from last Friday’s loss with tonight’s matchup against the Raptors. Fortunately, they’ll be a lot closer to full strength in this one, with starters Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Andrew Wiggins all expected to return Monday night.

The Raptors, meanwhile, are one of the worst teams in the NBA this season. They have the seventh-worst offensive rating and the third-worst defensive rating this season. Their 8-31 record also ranks second to last in the Eastern Conference as they’ve struggle to find any consistency this season.
Golden State has won three out of the last four matchups against the Raptors including the last two played in Toronto. This gives them an excellent opportunity to get back on track and avoid dropping below .500 for the first time this season.
