Previously with the Warriors:
Golden State responded well to the absences of Stephen Curry, Andrew Wiggins, and De’Anthony Melton by beating the Pelicans on Tuesday night, 124-106. Although they found themselves facing an early 20-point deficit, the Warriors rallied to not only complete the comeback win, but beat New Orleans by 18 points.

Lindy Waters III and Buddy Hield were the stars for Golden State. They scored 21 and 28 points, respectively, while shooting a combined 10-of-18 from the three-point line.

What to watch for tonight:
Once again, the big storyline heading into tonight’s game will be the Warriors’ starting lineup. Head coach Steve Kerr made his first big shakeup to the rotation, moving Jonathan Kuminga to the bench while elevating Hield, Brandin Podziemski, and Moses Moody to starters. Kerr says the move adds more shooting to the starting lineup, improving the spacing on the floor. Kerr also mentioned that Kuminga was made aware of the change prior to the game and told him he would still see lots of playing time.
Steve Kerr on his decision to bench Jonathan Kuminga:
“Without Steph and Wiggins, I didn’t want to start TJD, Draymond and JK… I told him before the game. You’re going to play a lot, this is just about combinations and getting a little more spacing on the floor to start.” pic.twitter.com/w5Kdcy9Z5w

Kuminga struggled in the first three games of the season but broke out of his slump by coming off the bench on Tuesday night. His elite athleticism shined as he attacked the rim at will to the tune of 17 points along with three rebounds, two steals, and one block in 28 minutes of action.

With Wiggins potentially available for Wednesday’s game, Kerr might have further adjustments to make to the rotation, especially with Waters making a case for more playing time. The Warriors won yesterday’s game by outshooting the Pelicans — nearly making more threes (21-of-46) than the Pelicans even attempted (9-of-22) — so regardless of who is on the court for Golden State, expect them to continue leaning on their elite shooting.
