The 2025 NBA All-Star Game tips off Sunday night at the Chase Center, as the Golden State Warriors play host to the league’s brightest stars. The action begins at 5:00 PM PT and will be broadcast live on TNT and TruTV.
This year, the NBA is introducing a brand-new format, shifting away from the traditional East vs. West or captain-drafted rosters. Instead, the iconic Inside the NBA crew of Shaquille O’Neal, Kenny Smith, and Charles Barkley drafted three teams, each featuring eight All-Star players, to compete in a single-elimination, three-game, mini tournament. The fourth team belongs to fellow analyst Candace Parker, whose squad earned its spot in the event by winning Friday night’s Rising Stars Challenge.

Breaking Down the Teams
- Team Kenny’s Young Stars – the next generation of NBA talent, headlined by starters Jalen Brunson and Anthony Edwards, looking to make their mark on the All-Star stage.
- Team Chuck’s Global Stars – A squad featuring the NBA’s top international talent, including Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Victor Wemnbanyama, and reigning MVP Nikola Jokić.
- Team Shaq’s OGs – The main attraction for Warriors fans. Stephen Curry, LeBron James, and Kevin Durant—fresh off their gold medal run for Team USA in last summer’s Olympics—reunite in the Bay to prove they still have what it takes to dominate the league’s best.
- Team Candace’s Rising Stars – The wildcard. Candace Parker’s squad, led by Spurs rookie and Rising Stars MVP Stephon Castle, could be the tournament’s biggest sleeper if other team’s decide not to put in the effort.
Tournament Format
The night kicks off with Team Kenny’s Young Stars vs. Team Chuck’s Global Stars, followed by Team Shaq’s OGs vs. Team Candace’s Rising Stars. The winners of each game will meet in the championship, with every matchup being a race to 40 points. Each player on the championship winning team will receive a cash prize of $125,000.
