The Golden State Warriors take on the Detroit Pistons on Sunday night for their fourth preseason game. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 PM PT in San Francisco and can be watched on NBC Sports Bay Area.
Previously with the Warriors:
Golden State remains undefeated in the preseason after a narrow 109-106 victory against the Sacramento Kings on Friday night. However, there was a concerning moment late in the first half when Steph Curry exited the game with what was later diagnosed as a jammed finger. Curry did not return, logging just 16 minutes and scoring 6 points. Fortunately, The Athletic’s Anthony Slater reported that the injury appears to be minor and shouldn’t be a long-term concern.
Steph Curry jammed his finger late in the first half and left for the locker room. Didn’t return for the second half, but it doesn’t sound like an issue. He’s back in the weight room currently going through his normal postgame workout routine, per Warriors.

Despite Curry’s early departure, the Warriors managed to hold off Sacramento, largely due to Moses Moody’s performance. Starting at shooting guard, Moody shot 7-of-13, including two three-pointers, leading the team with 23 points. His strong showing continues to bolster his case for more playing time this upcoming season.

What to watch for tonight:
Andrew Wiggins has been ruled out for Sunday’s game, and Steph Curry is listed as day-to-day, making it possible he may also sit out. With both players potentially unavailable, Kerr is expected to test another new starting lineup, his fourth different combination in as many preseason games.
Kerr said Kuminga will move back in the starting line-up on Sunday. Wiggins will still be out.

Although Kerr continues to be pleased with the Warriors’ three-point shooting (13-of-34 from beyond the arc), one area that he wants them to clean up tonight is the turnovers. Golden State committed 23 turnovers on Friday — something Kerr attributes to poor execution and lack of “juice” on offense.
