Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, and Jaden McDaniels were all ejected around 100 seconds into Tuesday night’s in-season tournament game between the Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves.
The incident leading to the ejections began with Thompson and McDaniels getting tied up as they both ran down the court in transition. McDaniels ended up ripping Thompson’s jersey, with Thompson swinging his arm at McDaniels.
With players from both teams looking to break up Thompson and McDaniels, Green put Rudy Gobert in a headlock.
McDaniels and Thompson were assessed two technical fouls each, with Green given a flagrant foul 2.
This is the first game in 25 years where there were multiple players ejected before either team had scored.
Green was also ejected from Saturday’s game.
