Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has begun counseling. He’s expected to remain indefinitely suspended for at least the next three weeks.
The NBA suspended Green indefinitely after he struck Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic in the face on December 13. The NBA cited Green’s history of unsportsmanlike acts when announcing the suspension.
This is Green’s second suspension of the current season. He was previously suspended for five games after putting Rudy Gobert of the Minnesota Timberwolves in a chokehold during a game in November.
