Colin Cowherd has seen enough when it comes to the Golden State Warriors dynasty.
After losing to the Sacramento Kings in the play-in tournament, Cowherd thinks the Warriors dynasty is over.
“This is the way dynasties need to end. I mean, it’s over,” Cowherd said. “I think you keep Steph Curry, you keep Draymond Green, you keep Podz (Brandin Podziemski), and if you have to move a lot of your length, I don’t care if it’s Kuminga, Looney, Davis, etc.”
The Warriors got off to a slow start in the first half on Tuesday night and weren’t able to recover in the second half. It led to a 24-point loss (118-94) and their season is now over.
Curry led all Warriors players with 22 points but it wasn’t close to enough.
If this is the end of the dynasty, it’ll go down as one of the best in NBA history and sports history. The Warriors won four NBA titles in eight years and were unstoppable.
Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end and we’re likely seeing it right now with the Warriors.
It should be a busy offseason in the Bay Area.
