Bob Myers, a two-time executive of the year and four-time NBA champion, announced Tuesday that he’s stepping down as the president and general manager of the Warriors.
Myers is credited with building the Warriors’ dynasty. Not only did he re-sign Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green during his time in Golden State, he won the Kevin Durant sweepstakes in the summer of 2016.
If Myers isn’t interested in taking another NBA job this offseason, he could consider a move to TV.
According to Michael McCarthy of Front Office Sports, ESPN has expressed interest in hiring Myers.
McCarthy said talks involving Meyers and ESPN are in the very early stages.

Myers is a well-respected figure in the league who should command plenty of interest from teams in need of a new architect.
However, it’s worth noting that Myers said it was time for him to leave the Golden State. It’s possible that he wants a new challenge outside of the NBA.
