The Charlotte Hornets are open to sign-and-trade possibilities with Miles Bridges as he becomes a free agent this offseason. Bridges could command an annual salary in the $30 million range. Bridges played on the $7.9 million qualifying offer as he came off his domestic violence suspension. Bridges turned down a four-year, $60 million extension offer form the Hornets in 2021 and was set to sign a nine-figure deal in 2022 until his felony domestic violence arrest.
The Brooklyn Nets and Sacramento Kings are among the teams with interest in Bridges ahead of the 2024 trade deadline. The Nets discussed a package centered on Ben Simmons for Bridges.
Bridges averaged 21.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 37.4 minutes over 69 games last season after sitting out the 22-23 season.
Bridges is represented by Rich Paul.
