DeRozan has made multiple All-NBA and All-Star teams in his career and is one of the best scorers of the 21st century, but he has never even made the Finals. As he nears the end of his career, it’s very plausible that he demands a trade to a contender. “You have DeMar, who I think is going to be similar to Sabonis,” Amick said. “There’s going to be some tough conversations in the summer where guys decide they feel like they want to be a part of this.”

Pacers led by as many as 10, but Kings closed the half on a 14-4 run for a 60-54 lead.
Kings have three in double figures, Pacers have none — and just two FTAs. That’s got to change in the 2H.
Sabonis with 14/8; Haliburton has 7/8a. – 8:03 PM

This one has gone back and forth. Both teams using frequent timeouts, which has impacted flow/rhythm.
Expected a big game from Sabonis (12/6) with Turner out. As we remember from Chicago, DeRozan and LaVine have big success.
Early surprise for the Pacers has been 8 turnovers – 7:57 PM

More elite players are playing until they have 15-plus years in the league. Just look at some of the names who qualify for the 15-plus-year-in-the-NBA club right now: LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry and Harden, as well as DeMar DeRozan, Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook and Jrue Holiday. -via HoopsHype / March 22, 2025
Multiple league personnel that have spoken with The Post say Giannis Antetokounmpo has been and remains Plan A for the Nets. If Antetokounmpo gets traded elsewhere this summer, that may make GM Sean Marks’ path simple, tanking for another year and building through the lottery. But what happens if the two-time MVP is in Milwaukee past the June draft, when Marks usually makes his biggest moves? Are potential lesser targets like Ja Morant, Domantas Sabonis, Trae Young or LaMelo Ball worth emptying the proverbial clip for if it means abandoning all hope for the Greek Freak? -via New York Post / April 1, 2025
Scott Agness: Rick Carlisle postgame: “We needed to change the energy of the game (going small at center). In order for it to be effective, they had to really fight against Sabonis and Valanciunas. “Obi really was the difference maker in this game with his offense, and he battled defensively” -via Twitter @ScottAgness / March 31, 2025
