Who is your GOAT and why? De’Aaron Fox: What MJ did in 15 years is crazy. But what LeBron‘s done in his career and is still doing is nuts. I would say Bron, I didn’t watch Michael Jordan play, so I’m not going to pick somebody I didn’t watch play.

LeBron James’ production firm the SpringHill Company has agreed to merge with Fulwell 73, the U.K.-based production company behind “The Kardashians,” the firms said Monday. Why it matters: The deal gives both companies scale and global reach at a time when the entertainment industry is under enormous pressure to evolve. -via axios.com / November 19, 2024
LeBron James has done it before. Saturday, he did it again, helping his team steal a 104-99 win. “I mean it’s LeBron,” Lakers rookie Dalton Knecht said. “… We should get out of his way and let him do LeBron.” James hit back-to-back threes in the fourth quarter — punctuating the second with his signature “silencer” celebration — as he stomped his feet in exclamation. Max Christie, getting a surprise start because of injuries, sealed the win by stealing the Lakers an extra possession in the final seconds. The Lakers have won five straight. “Just living in the moment, being able to still make plays and make big shots at this point in my career,” James said. “That’s what you live for. You never will be able to get those moments back when you’re done.” -via Los Angeles Times / November 17, 2024
Jovan Buha: Final: Lakers 104, Pelicans 99 LA wins its fifth straight game to improve to 9-4. This was an ugly, gritty comeback on the second night of a b2b. AD had 31 points and 14 rebounds. LeBron had 21/7/5. Dalton Knecht had a career-high 27 points. Up next: vs. Utah on Tuesday. -via x.com / November 16, 2024
What’s it like playing with DeMar DeRozan in Sacramento? De’Aaron Fox: It’s been cool, man. Just the way that he gets to his spot, he just makes the game look so effortless. And when he’s playing, you have to send doubles at him. So he makes the game a whole lot easier for everybody else that’s on the court with him. -via HoopsHype / November 19, 2024
What sets you apart from other guards in your bid for an All-NBA spot this season? De’Aaron Fox: For me, it’s continuing to affect the game on both ends of the court. You know, even if I’m not scoring, being able to be a guy who can make an All-Defensive Team and things like that. I think what’s big about me is I play both sides of the ball. I can average 25, but I could also lock somebody down if need be. So that’s a big thing for me. -via HoopsHype / November 19, 2024
What is the next level you’re trying to reach as a player? De’Aaron Fox: A lot of it for me, I think it always stems from shooting, being a better shooter, being a high-level shooter. I feel like I can get down, I can get downhill. I feel like I can guard anybody. So a lot of it has to do with what makes it easier, especially because playing with DeMar, a lot of it can be done by playing off the catch. -via HoopsHype / November 19, 2024
