Anjali Ranadive, the daughter of Sacramento Kings owner Vivek Ranadive, went public with her relationship this week. It turns out she’s dating a former NBA player.
Anjali shared a few photos of her and former first-round pick Jeremy Lamb on Instagram. Lamb was drafted by the Houston Rockets in 2012. He was then traded to Oklahoma City Thunder in the blockbuster James Harden deal. Prior to going pro, he won an NCAA title at UConn, averaging 14.1 points in 75 games. Fans really loved his offensive game, and rightfully so.
Not only did Anjali hard launch her relationship with Lamb this week, she promoted her Jaws and Paws foundation, which is a wolf-dog sanctuary. She started this foundation in 2013.
“My pack,” Anjali wrote for her caption.
It’s unclear when Lamb and Ranadive started dating. For what it’s worth, he also went “Instagram official” with their relationship this week.
Perhaps this is truly the start of their romance.
Lamb announced his retirement from the NBA in August. He finished his pro career averaging 10.1 points and 3.6 rebounds per game.
“Basketball has been good to me throughout my entire life, so this decision didn’t come easy, but I have decided to retire from the game that has given me everything,” Lamb said.
Maybe we’ll see Lamb at Kings games in the near future. He actually played for the franchise during the 2021-22 season, averaging 7.8 points on 30.2 percent shooting from beyond the arc.
