Here’s what you need to know if you’re headed to Oracle Park this weekend.
Good morning, baseball fans!
The San Francisco Giants will be playing their penultimate home series of the year this weekend against the San Diego Padres. I know we’re all already kind of sick of the Padres after last weekend, but it is one of your last chances to get out to the ballpark before the end of the season.
Let’s take a look at what Oracle Park has in store for you this weekend if you’re thinking about heading to a game.
First up, Friday night will feature one of the Giants’ most popular annual giveaways. All fans in attendance will receive a buy one get one free flight voucher from Alaska Airlines. So if you’ve got a trip coming up, this might be a good way to save some money. There are terms and conditions, because of course there are, so you can check those out over on the event site.
For you football fans, Saturday is the game to get to as it will be San Francisco 49ers Day at Oracle Park. The first 15,000 fans in attendance will receive a 49ers hat giveaway that looks more like it’s a Giants hat that is in 49ers colors.
Finally, Sunday will be the Fiesta Gigantes special event. For those lucky fans who got their special event tickets before they sold out, you will be receiving an Alou Brothers Bobblehead. If not, you’re still in luck, as the first 15,000 fans in attendance will be receiving a Fiesta Gigantes flag giveaway
As always, I recommend entering the park via the Marina Gate entrance if you’re looking to make sure you get your hands on one of the limited giveaways as it’s less crowded.
If you’re headed to the park this weekend, have fun!
What time do the Giants play this weekend?
The times for this series will be pretty standard, with Friday night’s game starting at 7:15 p.m., Saturday at 6:05 p.m., and Sunday at 1:05 p.m.
