We’ve got some exciting (your mileage may vary on the definition of exciting) dates to put in your calendar if you’ve been itching for some San Francisco Giants Spring Training action. We could all use something fun to look forward to, after all, during these seemingly never ending unprecedented times.
And we’ve got just the thing!
MLB recently announced the reporting and media dates for this year’s Spring Training. You can check out the full list for the Grapefruit and Cactus leagues over here, but here’s what Giants fans will want to know.
Giants pitchers and catchers will be reporting to Scottsdale, AZ on Wednesday, February 12th, whereas the first full squad workout will be on Monday, February 17th.
The Giants will have their media day (including team photos) on Thursday, February 20th.
Just the usual disclaimer, these dates are subject to change. But as of right now, the squad will be back in action in just three weeks.
