I don’t have anything grand or exciting to say today, because nothing grand or exciting has happened to the San Francisco Giants in the last few days. Hopefully that means that Corbin Burnes signs today, though it’s looking more and more likely that we won’t get a resolution on that front until after Christmas.
So, since I lack anything new to write about, let’s just all remember that Willy Adames signed a contract to play with the baseball team that you watch and root for. We’ve heard over and over that everyone loves Adames, and that fans will adore him, and the Giants have backed that up with a fun little video from his first day with the team.
It’s worth watching if for no other reason than you’ll hear one of the greatest baseball quotes ever: “I don’t think that I can love anything else more than baseball. Well, except my mom.”
What a guy. A forever Giant already.
