Sure, there have only been two games so far. But why should that stop us from remembering the highlights?
Good morning, baseball fans!
The San Francisco Giants will be wrapping up their first series of the year today. Something I’d like to start doing on a weekly basis is checking in to see what the fans think the best plays of the week were. These could be defensive plays, filthy pitches, dingers, or whatever else stood out to you. So I thought we would start that today.
Of course that means that there have only been two official games to choose from, so I’ll open up this week’s review to include the exhibition games from earlier in the week.
Personally (and not exclusively because this is being pre-written before the season starts), I’ve got to give my tip of the cap this week to Tyler Fitzgerald, whose two-run shot in Tuesday’s exhibition game against the Detroit Tigers laid the groundwork for the Giants to win.
What was your favorite play of the week?
