We’re one week away from Spring Training games beginning in Scottsdale, AZ. What are some of your favorite Spring Training memories?
Good morning, baseball fans!
We are officially one week out from live San Francisco Giants baseball games returning to our lives. I’m sure many of you have already procured your tickets and travel arrangements for the occasion. So in keeping with this week’s theme of traditions, I wanted to hear about your favorite Spring Training memories.
Unfortunately, I’ve never had the opportunity to attend Spring Training in person. And that may be the case for others as well, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have Spring Training traditions.
For me, I just love the fact that there is Giants baseball on my radio again for the first time in months. I love that first radio broadcast on a nice day, just having the game on in the car or at work. And I look forward to the first television broadcast almost as much as Opening Day. The Giants broadcasters have come to feel like part of the family, so it feels like a reunion, in a way.
Whether it’s traditions that baseball has weaved into the fabric of our daily lives, family trips to Arizona, or just particularly memorable games from the past, I want to hear about it.
