Here’s what you need to know if you’re headed to the ballpark this weekend!
Good morning, baseball fans!
It’s time for another weekend of San Francisco Giants baseball at Oracle Park, as the Giants welcome the New York Yankees to town to start a three-game series.
Which means it’s time to take a look at what promotions and giveaways you can look forward to if you’re headed out to the park.
First up, tonight is African American Heritage Day, which includes a Willie Mays Birmingham Black Barons Bobblehead giveaway to anyone with a special event ticket. This special event is not yet sold out as of the time this is being written, so there’s still a chance to attend the festivities and get the giveaway.
Saturday’s game will feature a Players Aloha Shirt giveaway that you might have seen featured during the recent broadcasts. This will be available for the first 20,000 fans. Pro-tip, I have a feeling this is going to be a hot giveaway item, and for those, I always recommend entering through the Marina Gate entrance. It’s usually a lot less crowded and you’re more likely to be successful in getting the giveaway.
Sunday’s game will feature a bobblehead commemorating LaMonte Wade, Jr. hitting the 100th Splash Hit at Oracle Park. This will also be available for the first 20,000 fans. And my advice from above applies once again.
If you’re headed out to the park this weekend, have fun!
What time do the Giants play today?
