One more time at the Coliseum.
It’s here, y’all.
The last game in the Coliseum. The last game in Oakland. The last A’s game some of you may ever watch.
By now, everyone knows how we got here and which bad actors were responsible, but for today, I hope y’all soak in the magic of a true Oakland A’s ballgame as much as possible. I attended the game in person last night and, despite the loss, it was everything I could ask for. Fans united in their profound sadness, joy, disappointment, appreciation, anger, love. The chants covered every emotion possible ranging from “SELL THE TEAM” and “F*** JOHN FISHER” to “THANK YOU GROUNDSCREW” and, of course, “LET’S GO OAKLAND”.
J.T. Ginn and Kumar Rocker will get the honors of starting the final game, as well as these 18 batters.
