Fall Classic continues, Braves lead 3-1
The Atlanta Braves are one win away from winning the 2021 World Series. The Braves hold a 3-1 series lead over the Houston Astros, looking for their first title since 1995.
In Game 4 last night, the Braves fell behind early but came back in the late innings. Solo homers by Dansby Swanson and Jorge Soler in the 7th inning represented the tying and go-ahead runs as Atlanta edged out Houston 3-2.
Now the Braves will try to close out the championship in Game 5, on their home turf of Truist Park. Starting for Atlanta is Tucker Davidson, a 25-year-old who has made only five career starts at the MLB level, and who missed most of this season to injury. The Astros counter with Framber Valdez, who got knocked around in a Game 1 loss but recently had a big performance in the ALCS.
