Time for some more fun in the sun
Spring Training continues as the Athletics prepare to take on their division rival the Seattle Mariners for the first time in 2025.
We got an early idea of who will be following starting pitcher Joey Estes out of the bullpen for today’s contest:
Mitch Spence, Mason Barnett, Noah Murdock also expected to pitch today in Peoria. https://t.co/oIHMbCUSJj

As you can see the club will be going with a lineup full of expected regulars. Outside of Luis Urias and CJ Alexander, everyone in today’s starting nine should be on the Opening Day roster. Interesting that manager Mark Kotsay is giving so much playing time to the main guys so early.
Seattle will be sending their prized young righty George Kirby to the mound for today’s start. Also like Spence we shouldn’t expect to see Kirby for very long but you can be sure that we’ll likely see plenty of him this upcoming season. Seattle will line up behind him with this batting order:
It’s Kirby’s turn! #TridentsUp
