Time for another win in the desert
After a late-game rally turned a possibly loss into a massive win yesterday, the A’s continue their spring training with another matchup with their division rivals from down south, the Los Angeles Angels.
Right-hander Joey Estes will get the ball for his fourth appearance of camp. He’s still in competition for the fifth starter’s role and he could give himself a leg up with a big outing today. He has a 5.87 ERA in 7 2⁄3 innings so far this spring.
The Athletics lineup will look like this today:

You can see there are tons of expected regulars in today’s lineup. In fact the only one who isn’t expected to be an everyday player is infielder Luis Urias, who seems likely to crack the Opening Day roster and split time at third, and possibly second bases.
That starting nine will be going up against veteran lefty Tyler Anderson. It feels just like yesterday that he joined the major leagues with the Rockies but he’s about to enter his 10th season already.

Los Angeles will be doing a split-squad game so we’ll be facing the lineup on the right side.
First pitch is set for 1:05 P.M. And as always, Let’s go A’s!
